Jason graduated high school from Putnam City North in 1997. He attended Oklahoma State University, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, in 2002. Jason went on to Texas Woman’s University, a premier physical therapy school, and graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2004. He began his physical therapy career at Oklahoma Physical Therapy Spine Care-rehab in 2004. In 2009, he completed a fellowship in orthopedic manual therapy, which is one of the highest credentials that a physical therapist can obtain. He became manager of Oklahoma Physical Therapy Spine Care-Rehab in south Oklahoma City from 2006-2008. In 2008, he was given the opportunity to start-up a physical therapy clinic in Yukon, OK. He enjoyed this opportunity until he was offered the opportunity to become part-owner of Oklahoma Physical Therapy Spine Care-Rehab. Jason is the managing partner/director at the north location. Jason has a strong background and knowledge of spinal dysfunctions, but also knows sports injuries from his time as a student athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University.
Ben graduated with honors from Oklahoma Christian University in 2004, with a degree in mechanical engineering. He then served six years of active duty service as an officer in the U.S. Navy before electing to leave the military, honorably discharged. Following his military service, Ben wanted a career where he had a more direct and positive impact on peoples’ lives. He graduated from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2013 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Ben’s approach to physical therapy reflects his love for mechanical function, problem solving, and people. Ben specializes in spinal dysfunction, complex dysfunctions, and orthopedic/sports rehabilitation. He truly considers his work to be his calling. Ben lives in his hometown of Choctaw, OK, where he opened Oklahoma Physical Therapy – Choctaw. He married the love of his life, Crystal, in 2004. They have two daughters: Caitlin, born 2011, and Cassidy, born 2013.
Derek is the managing physical therapist for Oklahoma Physical Therapy Spine Care-Rehab in south OKC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University in 2008, after which he spent 10 months in Guaimaca, Honduras, where he had the privilege to live and work with the people of Orphanage Emmanuel. He graduated from the physical therapy program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013, and specializes in the areas of manual therapy, spinal dysfunction, orthopedics, sports medicine, and functionally-oriented care. He is also a Certified Dry Needling provider.
Derek has been married to his beautiful wife Nancy since 2008, and their two daughters were born in 2011 and 2014. They live in South Oklahoma City, where they love being a part of the warm and friendly community. Derek’s greatest joy in his work is gaining an understanding of what is important to each person who walks in the door, then using the highest level of personalized care to help those people get back to living the life that is important to them.
